“The body you compared my current body to was the less healthy version of it. I was on too many antidepressants, drinking too much, eating poorly and at the lowest point of my life. The singer ended the video by telling the public to be more polite about others: “I think we could be kinder and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies. It doesn’t matter if you’re saying something nice or well-meaning”.
